Youth Faith Formation
Youth Faith Formation kindergarten through grade 10 at Holy Family Parish integrates three important aspects into our young peoples’ Catholic faith education: service, spirituality, and community.
Through service projects, our youth are presented the opportunity to serve others in meaningful, even life-changing ways. The Appalachian Service Project offered each year to our high school students is an example of one very successful service event here at Holy Family.
Our religious education program utilizes the catechism programs, Faith and Life and Image of God, both published by Ignatius Press. In addition, the youth are nurtured spiritually through retreats, the learning of special prayers, involvement in Eucharistic adoration, and participation in a Lenten Stations of the Cross and a Christmas Pageant.
Finally, our students are provided opportunities to grow together in community by partaking in various social events throughout the year.
We are happy to welcome interested parents and other adults who are willing to share their time and talent to teach, chaperone, or even work a retreat. If you are interested, please call Catherine Kelleher, director, or Mary Weimer, associate director at 781-934-6839.
