Feedback on Vision Statement

As part of the Archdiocese of Boston’s Pastoral Planning Process, parish lay leaders and staff members are undertaking a self-examination of how Holy Family Parish should carry on its mission in the years ahead with a renewed emphasis on evangelization. A parish pastoral plan writing team has begun looking at areas of strength and need for growth within our parish. Presently, the team has proposed a Vision Statement that will help us all - parishioners and staff members - focus our mission, and guide us to identify areas that will help us better fulfill it.

This weekend we’re inviting you, our parishioners, to provide feedback on the Vision Statement. It says, Holy Family strives to be a joyful, welcoming community of faith who encounters Jesus and thinks with His mind and loves with His heart. We’d like you to answer just this one question: What can we, as a parish, do to achieve this vision? Your responses will help the plan writing team members set the goals that will help us accomplish our primary mission of evangelization, which is to form committed disciples of Jesus Christ who truly know Him and love Him, and who seek to draw others into closer relationship with Him and His Church.

If you were not able to send in your response to the question above at Mass this weekend, you can still participate by texting your response to 508-591-5940 or by filling out a card with your response and sending it in to the parish center. Anonymous answers are welcome, but if you would like to be part of further discussions around our pastoral plan, please include your name and email/phone number at the bottom of your card or text. Thanks in advance for your thoughtful reflection on what we can do to achieve this vision.
