2020 Appalachia Service Project

7:00pm Rooted - High School Youth

Time is running out to register for the 2020 Appalachia Service Project "ASP" happening Jul 11-18.

ASP is a Christian service organization that repairs homes for the poorest of the poor in the Appalachian mountain regions of West Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky. The 2020 trip will represent Holy Family's 18th year of service with ASP, and as any teen who has participated can attest, they go to help serve others, but return forever changed themselves.

Anyone (teens and chaperones alike) interested in attending must sign-up online by Mon, Jan 20. When registering, please register using your own email address (NOT a parent or guardian's).

Teens must be high school sophomores or older to participate. Applicants should understand that participation in this trip involves a year-round commitment, including full participation in meetings, trainings and fundraising throughout the year.

The next ASP Meeting will be held in Tue, Jan 21 at 7:00pm. All applicants and at least one parent must attend this meeting. Applicants (teenagers and chaperones) are required to bring a $100 deposit with them to this meeting. Checks should be made out to "Holy Family ASP".
