Confirmation Preparation

Classes are held on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:15pm. Please join us for the 5:00 pm Mass before class. The format of the evenings includes hands-on activities, small group discussions and various prayer experiences. Parents will join the teens for at least one session.

Attendance Policy

As a parish, we have an obligation to prepare Confirmation Candidates for the reception of the Sacrament. If a student misses class, they are required to do a make-up class. If a student misses more than 2 classes, we will need to have a conversation with the student, their adult and the Faith Formation team about whether the student is ready for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Required Service

Doing Acts of Service is part of learning to be Jesus’ hands and feet in the world and follow His example of serving others. As a parish, we want to provide you with different experiences to see which types of service you find meaningful. Then, as young adults, you will know what kinds of Acts of Service you will want to do throughout your life. Community Service is a lifelong goal.

The Faith Formation Team wants you to participate in MEANINGFUL ACTS of SERVICE.

We do not want you to mindlessly check off a box and say, “Done!”.

We require that each student participate in TWO opportunities organized by Holy Family. There will be a variety of activities offered.
