First Reconciliation and First Eucharist Preparation

We believe that preparing children for Reconciliation and Eucharist is a wonderful opportunity for families. We believe that the early years of Faith Formation are formative for the whole family and provide a beautiful opportunity for the whole family to reflect on how God has been present in their lives and to encounter God in a meaningful way. We try to meet families where they are and help each family move forward on their faith journey.

Those preparing for First Communion/First Reconciliation participate in Bridge with their families and then have additional workshop formation for Sacramental Prep. To be registered for First Reconciliation/First Communion Prep you must be registered for Bridge. Only those registered for Bridge will receive information on the additional sacramental prep!

Bridge info can be found here.

First Reconciliation/First Communion preparation has traditionally been done in grade 2, but many times that does not happen for one reason or another. We always welcome families with children and teens who are older than grade 2 to begin preparation for these important Sacraments! If your child is in 3rd grade or above and wishes to begin this preparation, please call Mary Juliano Hayes at 781-934-5055 after you register to let us know. Older children are not automatically placed in Sacramental Prep.

For Sacramental Prep we will have a parent only meeting and parent child workshops. There will be two for First Reconciliation and three for First Communion. Contact Mary Hayes for more information.
