The Sacraments at Holy Family Parish
The Seven Sacraments are sacred signs of God’s grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church. They mark the milestones of our spiritual journey—strengthening, healing, and sustaining us in faith.
Sacraments of Christian Initiation

Baptism
Baptism is the gateway to the Christian life. Through water and the Holy Spirit, we are reborn as children of God.
Baptisms are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 12:30pm.
To schedule a baptism: Contact Kristen McArdle at office@holyfamilyduxbury.org or 781-934-5055 x110.
Adults seeking Baptism or who want to learn more about the Catholic Faith should reach out to Jeanne Cregan at jcregan@holyfamilyduxbury.org or 781-934-5055 x 114

Confirmation
In Confirmation, we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit and are sent into the world as witnesses to Christ.
Confirmation is ordinarily received in 8th grade, but its never too late. If you are middle school or high school student who wishes to be Confirmed, please reach out to Jackie Halpin Curran at jcurran@holyfamilyduxbury.org or 781-934-5055.
Adults seeking Confirmation or who want to learn more about the Catholic Faith should reach out to Jeanne Cregan at jcregan@holyfamilyduxbury.org or 781-934-5055 x 114

Eucharist
The Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith, where we receive Jesus Christ—body, blood, soul, and divinity.
Preparation for First Communion usually happens in grade two but it is never too late. To preparation for your child for First Communion, contact Mary Hayes at mhayes@holyfamilyduxbury.org or 781-934-5055 x128.
Eucharistic Adoration
Fridays after 8:15am Mass until 7:00pm in the Chapel. There is Benediction and Evening Prayer at 5:00pm.
Sacraments of Healing
Christ, the physician of our soul and body, instituted these sacraments because the new life that he gives us in the sacraments of Christian initiation can be weakened and even lost because of sin. Therefore, Christ willed that his Church should continue his work of healing and salvation by means of these two sacraments. Read more about the Sacraments of Healing.
